  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can be substituted with other cream soups.
  • 1 cup beef broth Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can be replaced with mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables Customizable with your choice of vegetables.
  • 1 package frozen country-style biscuits Ensure they are evenly placed on top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth to the skillet. Mix everything together until well incorporated.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables and heat for about 5 minutes.
  6. Lightly grease a baking dish and transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  7. Place the frozen biscuits on top of the beef mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. It can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
